Tsipras is a hero

One of the most irritating things during my four years in local politics was the fact, that I could not be myself. Too emotional, too direct, this or that was 'not done'... I felt as if I could not be a normal human being, but had to confirm myself to the political standard, which was invented by clowns from the past. Clowns, because these people refused to show their real faces. Their ambition was just to show a false, superior face towards the world, the people. They possessed knowledge and the people had to listen, had to show respect, had to believe, had to follow.
It is not that strange, that most politicians have a severe anxiety for the referendum. Apart from the fact, that they might lose their grip on the state of affairs, it is able to finish their political career in one day. Passé!
Tsipras had the guts to ask the people's opinion on a very complex matter. Not only did he take the risk to lose his job instantly, he decided not to be the arrogant clown with all the knowledge and answers. Tsipras' respect for the Greek people is unprecendented. Tsipras' respect for democracy as well.
Apart from reasons, truth, lies, consequences, power, fear, all those matters on which leading economists have had their say, and all those matters on which none of them came to te same conclusion, the outcome of this referendum is a victory. It tells the whole world, that established power can be blown away just like that, by uniting people. And the most imposing of it all: it happend in Greece, where democracy was born. Legendary!
